Hi !
I am searching where to purchase in Canada or USA the red and blue pencil made by Conté in France. It is the:
Television 649. It was reviewed in your post dated April 15, 2008. I know that was a long time ago. :(
Much appreciated! Blair Shearef
Blair, good luck. I doubt these were ever sold at retail in Canada or the US, so they would probably only be found on the vintage market.
This is a fantastic blog! I’m loving your in depth red review! Have you ever come across a red or blue that’s ERASABLE?
I’m not so much concerned with colour rather than erasability. Only Uni nanodia has been able to do that for me but it’s not in 2mm OR in pencil form.
Jeremy, please check this post: https://www.penciltalk.org/2009/09/mitsubishi-vermilion-and-prussian-blue-pencils
Regarding the Design.Y notebooks: The Japanese website mentions in several places, that the paper used is from Tomoe.
Is there a stockist near or in NY City where I can view an example?
Neill, these notebooks are from a one person operation. As I understand it, there is no brick and mortar retail channel, even inside Japan.
I have a booklet of crossword puzzles. They are on a glossy type paper.
Regular pencils barely mark on it.
I don’t want to use an inkpen.
What type of pencil can I use?
Hi, I’m looking for the vintage JC Penney Life blue miniature pencils that are very thin. I think these were for survey taking in the 80’s. Any idea where I can get them?
I have a package of Venus centennial of Canada pencils. There are 12 pencil, six of which are gold, six others white with a Mountie and the centennial symbol. Is there a buyer somewhere for these?
