Stationery Magazine

I can’t read much of it, yet it seems to speak very well to many interests of mine.

Red and blue pencils, leadholders, quirky office accessories - they’re all here, and featured prominently.

The magazine is in Japanese, with about 150 glossy pages crammed full of photos of woodcase pencils, mechanical pencils, leadholders, erasers, sharpeners, staplers, hole punches, rulers, and much more.

Looks like a great read, even for those of us who can’t read (Japanese). I see it is issue 1, and assume its therefore a new magazine? Any idea how often it is supposed to be published?

  2. penciladmin Says:

There are three issues that I have. Unfortunately, the publication details, if they exist, are all in Japanese. :-) Issue No. 3 seems to be from 2007, so it may be defunct, or on an irregular schedule.

Looks like a “mook”, the irregularly published, sometimes one off, Japanese hybrid of a magazine and a book.
